Physical

Feeling sluggish, lethargic and/or just a lacking any kind of afternoon energy? Foregoing PHYSICAL activity on a day-to-day basis leads to weeks of inactivity and before you know it – it’s been months since you broke a sweat doing anything more than walking up stairs or chasing your pet around the house. Get up! Get out! If you know it’s time to be more active there are easy things you can do right now to get back on track!

Emotional

EMOTIONS can be exhausting – at least that’s my opinion – LOL – but we are emotional beings thus it is integral we harness our emotions for good. We have to understand what triggers us from moment to moment throughout our days, weeks, months and years. If we lose that focus we’re left to our emotional whims  – which is why I put so much attention on my emotions and the underlying current that influences them. How is your daily emotional check-in structured?

Mental

MENTAL acuity is paramount to longterm health. Yes, there’s the science that proves it and you can google that if you desire concrete proof that reading, learning, hobbies, and interests are a must in your life. Grab a book about a subject you’ve always wanted to know more about or just attend a lecture or watch some youtube videos. There are a plethora of options to keep yourself snappy and aware. If you’re short on time, which is a priority issue (but that’s another conversation) then scoop up apps like Blinkest and Audible to kickstart the cognitive part of your brain!

Spiritual

SPIRITUAL connectivity is not just the domain of the religious, though that can usually be where one’s mind goes when the word spirituality is discussed. For me, being in touch with my inner energy and my vibration is my focus. Meditation, breathing exercises, calming myself and setting my intentions before the outside world sets them for me is key to my spiritual journey and growth.  What if your day is packed with to-dos and tasks? At some point, you will exhaust yourself and that drop in energy and productivity will have you wishing you had meditated sooner!
